2nd April 2004

This letter is about latest product news. I thought it would be good to update you on a couple of recent reviews that are well worth taking note of - these are quite a read in themselves so we won't include anything else in this issue. For the review links to work you can open the attached HTML newsletter or go to the web site issue at www.originlive.com/newsletter/newsletter5.htm

The reviews are pdf files to enable easy printing. However unless you have broadband, they may take a few minutes to download so please be don't think the links are not working.

Most Wanted Components 2004 Award

If you are contemplating a turntable change it is worth taking note that Stereo Times magazine has given the Origin Live Aurora Gold turntable with Illustrious tonearm it's highest approval. The review is yet to be published but it is official that this combination has won the "most wanted components 2004 award". This follows on the heels of the first review to be published on the Aurora Gold which is again outstanding and can be read on our web site.

Illustrious tonearm - group test winner

One way of improving your turntable other than changing the cartridge is to upgrade your tonearm. I can imagine most Ekos and SME owners switching off at this point because we all like to think we have the best or at least close to it. However the Illustrious tonearm is guaranteed to give you a major improvement whatever your current arm. This arm simply amazes listeners due to the enormous leap in performance over other high end arms. The Illustrious tonearm has just won a group comparison test conducted by Hi Fi World magazine. Seven arms were tested in this review and the results of testing the Origin Live Illustrious tonearm can be read on our web site at
