DC300 Motor Alone
DC300 Motor - The DC300 is a very high grade motor offering about 4 times the torque of the DC100 along with smoother operation. Motors of this caliber may not be cheap but are highly worthwhile in their ability to produce controlled energy in the sound that mimics the dynamics of llive music.
The Torque of DC200 motors (4 times the DC100).
The DC300 motor is included in all current turntables from the Calypso upwards and is easily identified by it's side label "DC300". If you have an Origin Live Turntable and wish to check whether your motor is up to date then simply unscrew the 3 outer button allen bolts of the top plate and lift it to see the motor. If it is not labelled DC200 or DC300 then it is a DC100 or older DC200 (older DC200 were just quieter versions of the DC100 but not in the same league as current DC200).
Latest specification DC300 motors are a drop in replacement for all older motors and dead easy for you to fit if you want a major upgrade.
