Rega Tonearm threaded VTA adjuster

For Rega arms with threaded base (not 3 point mounting)

Instructions for Fitting VTA adjuster to Rega Tonearm

The photos below show a Rega tonearm with and without threaded VTA adjuster fitted. These should be self explanatory but orientate the VTA adjuster correctly, then thread it onto the base of the Rega tonearm – in other words ensure VTA adjuster is fitted with the flat rim leading.

Note: These adjusters do not fit the later 3 point Rega mountings.

Once you’ve threaded the VTA adjuster on your Rega tonearm, fit the arm as normal.

You can set the arm at any height by unclamping the large Rega base nut and rotating the threaded adjuster, then re-clamping.

Rega tonearms sound best with the base nut only clamped finger tight (just listen to this verses tight if you are in any doubt).
